Abstract
Reverse logistics is a relatively new research area that was begun to study in 1980s, but especially the together studies were majored since 2000s in operations management. In this study the expanding literature on reverse logistics is investigated and studies are classified according to the research methods. Classification is made under three main headings as conceptual studies, empirical studies and mathematical modeling studies and under subheadings according to topics. In this way, it is aimed to be determined majored fields and relatively little-studied fields on reverse logistics which is an interdisciplinary topic and to guide to new studies.
