Abstract :
Water is the most valuable element on the Earth because of being the source of life. In that manner, the civilizations had been founded at the places of water sources, being near water had shaped the civilizations, founded trade roads, wars had been carried out for the water. Anatolian geography had also taken its share from this situation. Therefore, the relation of Konya that is at the statue of granary of Turkey in agriculture, with water has a different an economical and social importance for the Country. On the base of this situation the water sources that are present on the Konya District will be held in this study. In the study, the affords about Salt Lake that meets the risk of being disappeared and Beysehir Lake with Aksehir Lake, Kulu Lake, Meke Lake and in the result of this affords the current situation of them will be determined and whether the formation of pits whom the withdraw of ground water affective on, is being kept going at the region during the last decade will be emphasized.
