Title Of Article :
COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS ON WOMEN EMPLOYMENT IN TURKEY AND EUROPEAN UNION
Abstract :
Women are supposed to maintain multiple tasks simultaneously like being a housewife, a business woman or a mother as pursuant to the social roles assigned to them. That women shall not suffer from discrimination in labor force market is highly affiliated with the policies that the government shall pursue. The European Union member countries stand up for the women to have babies despite the harsh conditions and ensure a balance between business life, private life and home life so that they can undertake the responsibility of taking care of their parents as well as relatives. The common idea in Turkey is that the women employment is insufficient and that the existing measures are to be strengthened. In this study, Turkey and EU member countries shall be compared and contrasted with regards to women employment and the data obtained from the data delivery services shall be used in the evaluation of the findings.
