ARE SPORTS INDUSTRY EMPLOYEES WORKAHOLIC?: THE ISTANBUL CASE
Abstract :
Employees in sports industry work more than normal works hours and at the weekends. They begins work early in the morning and give up late in the evening. Intense and irregular working hours also may result in creating a workaholic lifestyle. In this study, 235 people who work in the sports industry in Istanbul were studied with quantitative methods to understand working and operating conditions. The results show that dimension of work enjoyment level is high and dimension of motivation to work is above avareage for employees in sports industry.
