Abstract
Exports of technology-intensive products are made mostly by the industrialized countries. Especially, the high technology goods trade is dominated by a select few industrial countries. The recent years, high and medium high technology products exports grew in Turkey . But Turkey was unable to resolve the problem of technology balance of payments deficit. Turkey has developed the performance of innovation since the last 5 years. However, its performance below the EU average. Also, in our country, R D expenditures and patent data below the average of the OECD and the EU.
