Abstract :
Good instruction is not enhancing the achievement of the most intelligent children. The achievement is measured by how the success of the least succssful children can be increased. Within this context, the expectations of parents from the instruction of their children are important. Parents are the teachers of their children outside school. Therefore, they are worried about the accuracy of the educational practices at school. They expect answers for such questions: In what kind of educational environment does my child live?, Are teachers intrested in my child s problems concerning school and lessons?. This study investigates the expectations of parents from kindergartens, which is the core of education. As a result, parents emphasize obtaining information most. Second, they have expectations concerning counselling and family education.
