Abstract :
The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of family factors of the final year undergraduate students who are going to go into business life in a short period of time over their entrepreneurship tendencies. A research carried out on the final year undergraduate students of four different departments in Economy Faculty of AhmetYesevi University is also included in this study. The data were gathered by means ofsurvey technique and the results were analyzed through 16 th version of SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). Crosstabs, factor analysis, reliability analysis and analysis of variance and t-test were used to make sense of the obtained data.As a result of the research, it was identified that the wish to become entrepreneurs of the final year undergraduate students varies according to educational status of their fathers. In addition, it was found that the student’s participation to the factors of entrepreneurship characteristics differs according to some familial characteristics.
