Title Of Article :
Niyazî-i misrî s Tasavvuf (Islamic mysticssm) and Ahlal Bayt understanding
Abstract :
Niyazi-i Misri, who is considered as the greatest representatives of Islamic mysticism after Yunus Emre, was born in Soʇanli village of Malatya in 1618 and passed away in Limni Island in 1694. Niyazi-i Misri s educational life, which began in Malatya, spreaded over a wide geography, containing Iraq and Egypt. His mystic life was formed by initiating (joining) several mystical goups from Kadiri to Halveti dervish orders. Niyazi-i Misri, who managed to pass over the century with his mystical points of view, was able to interest governors of Ottoman empires, too. But we can understand from his exhile years that the interest he had cought didn t cause positive results at all. He never lost his faithfulness with love (Aşk) and Faith (Sidk) to Prophet Mohammad,he mentioned him with praise and exiled for the sake of him,and his family members (Ahl-el Bayt). This study aims at presenting the fondness (Muhabbet-Deep Love) drops from the love that Hz. Pir Niyazi-i Misri felt for Ahl-al bayt and from the Sofra (low round dining table) of ̄slamic Mysticism.
