Abstract :
In this research, 41 B and Kober 5 BB American grapevine rootstocks which are widely used in our country and 1616 C which is known to be resistant to salt are used as a plant material. It was aimed that determination of tolerance to salt stress on these genotypes. The shoots have been grown in vitro conditions in a basal medium of MS added 0.5 mg/l benzyl adenine (BA) and 0.05 mg/l naphthalen acetic acid (NAA) containing 5 different concentration of NaCl (0 (control), 50 mM, 100 mM, 150 mM and 200 mM). After three weeks, increase in the number of leaf, shoot fresh weight and proline content on shoots were determined. As a result of research, there is no differences in increase in the number of leaf among genotypes, but shoot fresh weight and prolin content on 41 B were lower than other genotypes.
