Title Of Article :
The Estimation of Electromagnetic Fields Caused by Energy Transmission Lines Using Artificial Neural Networks
Abstract :
Electromagnetic fields are produced by natural and manmade sources. They have entered into our daily life. The number of electric and electronic based systems have increased in concur with technological development. As a result, the exposure level of electromagnetic fields is increasing our environment day by day. Energy transmission lines produce (Extremely Low Frequency) ELF electromagnetic fields in its surrounding are because of having high voltage and currents. In power transmission systems electromagnetic fields are generally created by the breaker, the separators connected to the system. The levels of electromagnetic fields around the transmissions lines are depend on the line configuration, the line voltage and the line current. Calculations of these fields are very easy comparing the complex structures like power systems. In this study, ELF electromagnetic field around a sample energy transmission line is investigated in regular operating conditions. An artificial neural network based method is developed to estimate these ELF fields. The method is tested for a sample energy transmission line and the obtained results were analyzed.
