Numerical Solution of the EW Equation with Radial Basis Function Collocation Method
Abstract :
In this study, the nonlinear Equal Width equation with partial derivative was solved numerically by using radial basis collocation method by space discretization technique. Different type basis functions were used at the calculations. To show the accuracy of the method, test problems which include single solitary wave motion, two and three solitary waves interaction and Maxwell initial condition were used, also for every test problems wave motions were pictured. The single solitary wave motion whose analytical solution was known error norms were calculated also mass, energy and momentum invariants were calculated for every test problems. Obtained results were compared with analytical results and published numerical results.
