Application of Cloud Computing in the Field of Education
Abstract :
In this study, a cloud computing based education portal was developed on Windows Azure platform. The developed portal was applied to a group of students and its contributions to education process were examined. Opportunities that the cloud computing provides contributions to education area and the cloud computing’s applicability on education were analyzed. Differences between the cloud computing and traditional software model were emphasized and the scenarios, which makes it necessary to transition to cloud computing, were interpreted.
