Morphological Characteristics and Spectral Signatures of Isparta Rose (Rosa damascena Mill.) During Vegetation Periods
Abstract :
In this study, the morphological features of Rosa damascenas also known as Mill. Isparta rose was followed on a weekly basis throughout the growing season. Spectral signatures of Rosa damascenes were also recorded beginning of Marc until end of October. For this purpose, five root stocks were selected at rose garden. The data, leaf, buds, flowers size and general appearance of rose, were collected. ASD FieldSpec HandHeld spectroradiometer and plant probe used to obtain spectral signature. Reflection values were obtained at the leaves of living plants on rootstocks. The spectral curves were established from the reflectance values. The reflectance values were evaluated according to bands. During the vegetation period, the archives was created include appearance of rose, leaf, buds and flowers with the spectral signatures. At results, the data bank was created to use in remote sensing methods. This data can also appropriate to estimate the implications of the band division according to season.
