Determining Confined Aquifer Parameters with Pumping Analysis
Abstract :
The presented paper considers the procedures which are used in determining the confined aquifer parameters, and their applicability in a reliability manner. Estimates and methods of the confined aquifer parameters depend on the exponential integrate equation obtained by Theis (1935). Theis (1935) method is a graphical procedure and it needs a matching to a field time –drawdown data versus the Theis type curve on double logarithmic graph. The other methods depend on an application to the Theis equation of various numeric and graphical procedures. This paper deals with an applications of various methods considering data observed in three observation wells, and a comparison each other procedure. In a result, advantages and disadvantages of used methods find out.
