Abstract :
Tax is the basic resource for the continuity of government which is the symbol of social cohesion. For this purpose, each individual in a society has an obligation of tax liability. Of course, it s important that how individuals perceive tax, what level of tax consciousness they have and how they have attitude to taxes. Indeed, such a study will contribute also to the arrangements envisaged in such a study for tax system. Regulatory approvals have been obtained for this study and the data obtained from several students at secondary level survey carried out in Izmir has been subjected to a series of analyzes. The findings showed that students reach a certain level of perception about taxes. In contrast, education and family can reveal differences in students perceptions of the level of income have been identified
