Abstract :
Intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) is an important cause of neurodevelopmental problems in preterm babies. Environmental and genetic factors are important in the pathogenesis of IVH and research is being done for preventive strategies. In this review etiology, clinical course, complications and preventive strategies of IVH are discussed.
