Abstract :
Maksillofacial defects may produce physical and aesthetical problems. These defects are reconstructed with surgical or prosthetic techniques. Because surgical techniques are difficult to perform, craniofacial defects are usually prosthetically reconstructed. The purpose of this literature review is to imply defect types, factors that affects success of prosthetic reconstruction, extraoral implants and retention systems.
