Title Of Article :
Gynecologic laparoscopy in patients with prior renal transplantation: 3 cases
Abstract :
The number of patients with end stage renal disease who underwent renal transplantation are getting higher every year. And of course, this situation results in an increase in this group, facing a surgery indicated problem. Laparoscopic management of benign and even malign gynecologic pathologies offers a number of clearly defined benefits when compared with laparotomy. Randomized and retrospective studies suggest that laparoscopy provides lower estimated blood loss, shorter hospital stay, and fewer postoperative complications with an improved quality of life and faster return of normal functioning. Here, we report 3 cases with prior renal transplantation, who were treated with laparoscopy, which is an uncommon treatment strategy.
