Abstract :
The aim of this study is to determine the self-efficacy beliefs of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine students in microscope usage. The survey model was used as research model. The study group included a total 196 students (77 of whom were female, and 119 of whom were male) attending the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Dicle University in the academic year of 2018-2019. As the data collection tool, “Self-efficacy Belief Scale in Microscope Usage” developed by Ünal Baş (2013) was used. For the analysis of the data, percentages, frequencies, means, standard deviations, independent samples t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used. As a result of the study, it was determined that self-efficacy belief levels were “high” according to the total average score of the students (116,72).
