  • Abstract
    In this study, the presences of parasite fauna on 34 Carassius gibelio (Bloch, 1782) from Seyitler Dam Lake, Turkey were investigated between March 2007 and May 2008. At the end of this study, two parasite species were identified. Dactylogyrus anchoratus (Dujardin, 1845), Gyrodactylus carassii Malmberg, 1957. Prevalence and minimum-maximum mean intensities of infection for each parasite species were determined according to seasons, size classes and sex of the fish host.
