Dissolution Of The Rubidium From Eti Mine Kırka Boron Management Waste
Abstract :
XRF and XRD analyzes has been conducted of the samples that are obtained from Eti Mine Kırka Boron Management. XRF and XRD analysis results seem to support each other. According to the XRD analysis results, the samples obtained from Eti Mine Kırka Boron Management has been found Borax, dolomite, potassium feldspar, tinkalkonit structure. According to the results of XRF analysis in KK8 sample above 1000 μg/g Rb was determined. In this study, the sample is obtained from Eti Mine Kırka Boron Management was used as the source of rubidium. The rubidium in KK8 samples is insoluble in water and acid. Rubidium source is solved with the method of melting by using CaCl2-CaCO3. ICP-OES device was used for the determination of the rubidium in the solution. Some experimental results, showed that above 1000 mg / L rubidium was passed to the solution. As experiments were performed at different temperatures and different amounts of salt has detemined appropriate test parameters.
