Abstract :

Eleven (11) Nepeta taxa naturally distributed around Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic. The distribution and bioecological characteristics of the Nepeta of taxa belong to the flora of the Nakhichevan have been studied between 2003–2010 years and evenly stil being studied. The collected samples were kept under protection by the of Instiute Botany of Azerbaijan Academy of Science. It has been benefited from the flora of the Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan and Çerepanovun’s studies in order to identify of plant taxa. The species N. meyeri and N. amoena naturally distributing in semi-desert territory of Nakhichevan (700–1000 m) and the mountain slope (1100–1600 m) areas. generally, Nepeta taxa distributing open and closed habitats of Nakhchivan territory. Here Nepeta species (N. grandiflora, N. zangezura, N. mussinii) and Galium verum, Тhуmus кotschyanus, Teucrium polium, Campanulaglomerata, Ziziphora tenuior species hows the of spread. Down and foot hill areas of the forests where open-brown soils and temperate climate N. mussinii. ve N. ucranica subsp. schischkinii taxa of the forest and through the under growth N. nuda subsp. nuda, N. betonicifolia subsp. somkhetica, N. grandiflora, N. betonicifolia subsp. somkhetica, N. zangezura taxa distributes subalpine and in the alpine grass ecosystem. Some Nepeta taxa is located in high mountain ous areas, especially Batabat, Salvartı and Kükü mountain chain.
