  • Abstract
    Alumina silicate based refractory bricks has a common application place where high tempereture need such as in steel, aluminum and cement indusrty. Bricks should have different alumina content properties according to application conditions. Abrasive erosion is a common erosion mechanism in the chimney of coal power plants. The particulate matter in flue gas causes some erosion in the brick. In this work, the erosion properties of various alumia silicate bricks used in coal power plants were investigated by blast abrasion test.
