Abstract :
We would like to express our pleasure in seeing the increase in the interest in our Journal as it reaches its 6th issue as a bi-annually published refereed periodical that aims at introducing the studies from and on Turkey and her region to the international scientific arena to promote discussion on them. The present issue of the Journal presents five articles, some of which take up concrete up-to-date issues of Translation Studies of our country, in accordance with our manifesto, while others shed light to our translation history.
