Abstract :
The title compound, 4-methyl-2-phenyl-4-((5-phenyl-2H-tetrazol-2-yl)methyl)-4,5-dihydrooxazole was synthesized in high yield by N-alkylation reaction between (4-methyl-2-phenyl-4,5-dihydrooxazol-4-yl)methyl-4-methylbenzenesulfonate and 5-phenyltetrazole inDMF at reflux. The structure of this product was established on the basis of NMRspectroscopy (1H, 13C), elemental analysis and MS data.
