Abstract :
One of the most basic data of economic and social development in the world is energy. Rapid industrialization and urbanization of environment, population growth, energy consumption growing in an essential way provides the diffusion of technology and the use of exiting energy sources economically and safely. As there are different standards in the equipment used in our country, problems are encountered in electricity generation, transmission, distribution, consumption and control. The most effective ways to get rid of these problems, are establishing and developing automation systems with high-tech software in power facilities. For that purpose, Matlab- high-tech software- offers serious opportunities in the fields of mathematics and engineering. In this study, 380/154 kV electricity transmission network belonging to the province of Sakarya was modeled and analyzed by using the Simulink toolbox. The power flow analysis of electrical system in Sakarya region, current and voltage values of various dams and short-circuit current values were calculated with this modeling. Based on these calculations, load- carrying capacity of the existinig system, relay coordination, control of the voltage levels of voltage insulation and results about possible stray fluxes have been reached.
