Abstract :
In this study, effect of torsional irregularity at multi story buildings with flat slab with continuous drop panel and beam slab are investigated. For this purpose, three flat slab with continuous drop panel and three beam slab structures are designed. Buildings are designed as 5 floors and C 25 concrete class and S 420 reinforcing steel is used. All buildings have same axle span and story height. In these buildings, column dimensions is chosen as 50x50 cm. Torsional irregularities of these buildings are prepared similarly. Linear dynamic analyses of these buildings are made and base shear forces, overturning moments and torsional moments are obtained. SAP 2000 structural analysis program is used at solutions. According to the analysis results, buildings which is used flat slab with continuous drop panel is affected more than buildings which beam slab.
