Investigation of oil removel process of the lycra blended cotton knitting fabric
Abstract :
Elastane fibres have been used widely in textile sector due to providing/posses of comfort and functionality on textile materials. In this study; the effect of oil removals agents, which used in oil removal process before thermofixing, on whiteness degree, colour strength values and surface roughness of lycra blended cotton fabric were investigated and absorbance degrees of oil removal and rinsing bath were measured. The results of the analysis showed that, the oil removal process in alkaline medium was determined to be more effective than acidic condition.
