On the Colpoda species (Protista: Ciliophora: Colpodea) inhabiting in the soils in van province of turkey
Abstract :
In this study, the morphological characteristics of species belonging to the genus Colpoda in the soil samples obtained from Van city centre, Edremit and campus area of Yüzüncü Yıl University were given. The total of eight Colpoda species (C. cucullus, C. inflata, C. maupasi, C. steinii, C. aspera, C. eliotti, C. tripartita, C. orientalis) were determined. Colpoda cucullus, C. inflata, C. maupasi, C. aspera, C. eliotti ve C. tripartita were first recorded for Turkish protozoon fauna.
