Color removal from ındigo dye containing wastewater by electro-fenton process
Abstract :
In this study, electro-Fenton technique was applied for the removal of color from the textile wastewater contaminated with indigo dyes. To achieve the complete decolorization, a series of experiments were carried out at different initial pH and Fe+2 and H2O2 concentrations. The complete decoloration for indigo dyes was obtained at pH 4. Additionally, Fe+2: H2O2 dosage was found to be 1: 73 by optimizing the H2O2 dosage, considering the concentration of Fe+2 in the reactor.
