Defining and Analysing Swot Factors of Industrial Engıneering Department of Erciyes University Via Delphi and Ahp For Strategic Planning

First of all, organizations must recognize themselves to give direction to the future and specified to achieve their goals. One of tehniques, they can be use for this aim is Swot analysis. A Swot analysis is a structured planning method used to evaluate their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats involved in a project or in a business venture. It involves specifying the objective of the business venture or project and identifying the internal and external factors that are favorable and unfavorable to achieve that objective. In the first step of this study, we defined the swot factors of department of Industrial Engineering of Erciyes University via Dehphi Technique. After that, defined Swot factors are scored by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Finally, some strategies are suggested.
