Abstract
Biofilms are multicellular-like living forms of microorganisms that they form under environmental stres conditions. This environmental stres factors could be include many biotic and abiotic factors or their combinations, in particularly; host immune responses, residential microbiota in the host systems, the antimicrobial compounds and pH, salt, temperature, and, organic and inorganic nutrient changes in the environment. Pathogen bacteria show high level durability and persistent infectious characteristics with the higher ability to forming biyofilm structures on both biotic and abiotic surfaces. Nowadays biofilm forms are defining as the predominant form of bacterial growth. Therefore, detailed definition of the biofilm interactions with the biotic and abiotic surfaces in addition to characterisation of their chemical, physical and biological properties has become one of the main subjects of modern microbiology.
