Abstract :
Effective use of available resources is an important performance indicator for decision-making units. One of the analyzes used to evaluate the performance of systems is effectiveness analysis. In this study; using data envelopment analysis, which is one of the efficiency analysis methods, it is aimed to analyze the total, technical and scale effectiveness of Kocaeli University Engineering Faculty departments and determine the potential improvement target values. Superefficiency models have been used to make performance rankings for the departments. In addition, Promethee method, which is one of the multi-criteria decision making methods for performance evaluation, is used in the study. The performance rankings of the departments were obtained by defining the preference functions, criterial weights and parameter values of the performance criteria. Whether there are meaningful relationships between the performance rankings obtained from different methods / models in terms of structural and basic purposes is examined and whether the method / models support each other or not is investigated.
