This study is based on analysy of “Carl Schröder Dıe Ersten Übungen Für Vıoloncello Opus 31” method which is used in teaching/ training cello in Western Music Education institutions. The study aims to define the musical dynamics which are examined in the book “Dıe Ersten Übungen Für Vıoloncello Opus 31” of Carl Schröder, right hand arch techiques, left hand technical subjects and studies and the aimed targets to be reached in cello teaching/training. It is a descriptive study. The information was obtained through literature search and 30 etudes were analyzed technically and musically at Carl Schröder’s book, Opus 31 etude. As a result of analyses were made in a variety of solutions.
