Effect of Using Multi-Media to Students’ Time-Chronology Skills and Perception Skills of Students’ Change-Continuity

In this study, it was tried to determine the impact of using multi-media on students’ time-chronology and change-continuity perception skills, and its impact on their attitudes to the 7. grade social studies teaching and learning activities. The research, which is in accordance with one group pre-test and post-test quasi-experimental design, was carried out with participation of 27 7. grade students, who study at Sincan ĠMKB Elementary School, in 5 weeks process. According to the data obtained from the research, it is understood that using multi-media brought a positive change on the development of time-chronology and change-continuity perception skills of students. Beyond, it is observed that in the social studies lesson the use of multi-media caused a significant change on students’ attitudes to social studies lesson.
