Abstract :
In this knowledge age, when the computers and the Internet are used so often, using English on the Internet is important in terms of students’ both developing English skills and benefiting from Internet more by using English. In this research which the investigation of attitudes towards the use of English on the Internet according to some variables has been carried out, the attitudes towards the use of English on the Internet, of the bachelor students have been tried to be identified. In this research, general survey model has been used. To determine the attitudes of 307 undergraduate students, a 5 point Likert scale which has 19 items has been used. t-test, one way of variance analysis and Kruskal Wallis have been used to find out if there is a significant meaning between the descriptive variables such as gender, age, faculty, whether the preparatory class has been taken or not, number of the year they have been learning English, using computer and Internet, whether they have a personal computer/laptop, a computer certificate and experience of being abroad.
