مرکز منطقه ای اطلاع رساني علوم و فناوري - Determining the Perceptions of the Businesses, Exporting the Huzelnut Product, towards Selection of the Licensed Warehouse Location with the Factor Analysis Method

Abstract :

This study aims to determine the factors affecting warehouse site selection for nut products and to research the perceptions of companies on Licensed Warehouse System. In the literature review carried out for this purpose, no study was found researching the factors focused on Licensed Warehouse System and affecting licensed warehouse site selection for nut products. Therefore, the factors of warehouse site selection given in the research model have been created by including the studies on the factors affecting foundation site selection of an enterprise which are partially related with the research. The expressions regarding the perceptions on Licensed Warehouse System were determined by having detailed interviews with authorized persons, they were combined with the site selection variables, and the survey questions created in this way and they were applied on 44 enterprises which export nut products in the Black Sea Region. As a result of the factor analysis conducted, the variables affecting warehouse site selection for nut products were found to be financial, market/supply, governmental/environmental and natural factors and it was determined that the financial factor is the most significant factor among these factors affecting warehouse site selection. The variables affecting Licensed Warehouse System perceptions were found to be production/marketing, system operation and cost factors. It was found that the cost factor affecting Licensed Warehouse System perceptions also affects financial factor which has a significant impact on warehouse site selection.
