Determination of Landscape Potential in Kop Mountain Region for Recreational Tourism
Abstract :
Kop mountain is on ancient Silk road leading on Erzurum- Bayburt highway linking Eastern Anatolia to Blacksea region. Ski centre in the mountain can serve winter tourism, plateaus can serve plateau tourism and martyrdom area can serve history tourism. In the present study, recreational landscape potential of Kop Mountain was evaluated and it was determined that the mountain can provide possibilities with its natural and cultural values for winter tourism, plateau tourism, historical tourism, bird watching, photo-safari, horse riding, trekking, mountain biking, camp and caravan tourism, botanical tourism.
