Abstract :
Determining sustainable management strategies of GAP Region`s fishery is important for the efficient water resources usage within the frame of aquaculture and fisheries. Protection of bio-diversity, ecosystem, and human health sensitivity should be considered throughout of this determination process. At this stage, establishing and evaluating spatial database in geographic information systems (GIS) are indispensable for today`s decision makers. In this study, a detailed spatial database that belongs to important water sources, fishery cooperatives, and fish enterprises in GAP region has been developed and explained.
