Abstract :
Coriander is an important spices plant aid to Apiaceae family and has been cultivated in different places of Turkey, especially in the lakes district. The aim of this study was to determine stability parameters aid to volatile oil traits and adaptation capabilities of 6 Coriander genotypes developed with pure line method. This research was carried out under the Samsun (Gelemen and Bafra counties) and Amasya (Tasova counties) provinces conditions in the years 2002 and 2003. Plant height, stalk thickness, umbrella number, 1000 fruits weight, yield per hectare, volatile oil rate and volatile oil yield values were determined in this study. According to study results it was established that days to flowering for the lines varied between 58-66. Earliest physiological maturing line was Hatay but latest one was Kudret-K. The cultivar Gamze gave maximum grain yield (141.42 gr/ha) whereas minimum yield was obtained from Pel-Mus line. On the other hand, maximum volatile oil rate (0.54%) was obtained from Pel-Mus line. In addition, according to regression values from stability parameters, Erbaa (b= 0.979) line regarding the yield was more stabile than the other lines in respect to its performance values.
