Determination of Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid White, 1919) (Nemata:Meloidogynidae) Races in Vegetable Fields in Erbaa and Niksar plains in Tokat

Research was conducted to find out the races of Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid White, 1919) (Nemata: Meloidogynidae) in Erbaa and Niksar vegetable fields in Tokat in 2007-2008. For this purpose, 33 root knot nematode M. incognita populations were determinated. Races determined by the North Carolina host test. As a result, two races of M. incognita (race 1 and race 2) were found in 33 population. The ratio of race 1 was 87,8% while race 2 was 12,1%. Race 2 was only found in Erbaa plain.
