Title Of Article :
Comparison of Burner Combustion Efficiency of Two Different Seed Corn Drying Firm’s
Abstract :
In this study, determination of the efficiency of combustion burners in two different corn seed firms were aimed. These firms are located in Karacabey town of Bursa province. As a result of measurement with a flue gas analyzer in the firms A and B; Average CO emissions were 32 ppm and 46 ppm, average NO emissions were 6,67 ppm and 5,33 ppm, average NO2 emissions were 1,97 ppm and 2,10 ppm. During the combustion process, burners had no SO2 emissions in both firms. Average flue gas temperature were 121,27 °C and 69,73 °C and combustion efficiency were 46.97 % and 72.63 % respectively. Simple adjustments on the burner settings and recycle ways of the wasted heat from the combustion of natural gas could help to use more efficiently energy.
