Abstract :
The purpose of the study is to investigate the effects of P and K levels which combined with each other on the seedling development nutritional status, fruit properties and yield of Kumquat plants. The research was conducted between the period of June 2011 and February 2013. The oval kumquat Fortunella margarita ((Lour.) Swing) used as plant material and they were transplanted to 14 liter pots. The experiments were conducted a randomized complete block design. Three different doses of phosphorus (10, 40 and 80 mg/kg) and potassium (150, 300 and 450 mg/kg), combined with each other, was applied in addition with the modified Hoagland solution to the soil once a week. Results, having statistical significance, showed that, phosphorus applications increased seedling rootstock diameter and length. Second doses of P and K increased length of the stem, fruit weight, the number of fruits and yield. Phosphorus applications increased plant leaves N, P, Fe and Mn, but the potassium applications generally increased K amount in plant.
