Development of Multi-Purpose Agriculture Robot
Abstract :
Use of robots in agricultural activities provides efficient production and better well-being of farmers while reducing human force. needed sensors, cameras and motors to make the agricultural robot able to move itself without damaging to the plants in the rows of fields are tested in the laboratory. Without damaging the plant between rows of plants in fields developed agricultural robot in order to be able to move itself, sensors, cameras and motors needed were made laboratory tests. Motor speed control, forward-backward and right-left orientation functions, the optimum number of needed sensors and their placements were determined. During the movement, signed plants are identified with real time image processing. In case of mounting additional mechanisms, the robot will be able to perform different agricultural applications, such as disease detection, weed detection and, pesticide.
