Abstract
This study aims to ınvestigation variables affecting of job satisfaction of the health care workers of whom work at Muğla Center. 158 nurses, 44 midwifes and 17 medical officers total 219 working at Muğla center composes the basis of this study. A surgery form, composed of two sections; job satisfaction data and socio-demografic characteristics, has been used to collect data. Statistical analysis results showed that 93.23±19.54 of the health workers had a fair level of general job satisfaction. A significant relation between the health care workers’, working clinics, tenure of office, institution change, job satisfaction, getting appreciation from their administrations and support from their collegues with thoughts of Family Medicines Practice and İDP points job satisfaction levels has been determined. (p 0.05). It was found to influance negative in their job satisfaction that the working style and no supporting of their administrators and low salary. Hence, it was concluded that developing strategies in medical instituons that enhance the organizationaljob satisfaction would be useful.
