Abstract :
This descriptive research, levels of loneliness and depression in patients with tuberculosis was designed to determine. The universe and the sample of Erzurum Tuberculosis recorded in the research criteria consisted of 38 patients and volunteers. Data were collected using the University California of Los Angeles-LonelinessScale (UCLA Loneliness Scale), Beck Depression Inventory and form of patient identification. UCLA loneliness scale and Beck depression scores between the moderate positive significant correlation was found (r =. 324, p 0.05). According to the duration of the patients receiving treatment at UCLA loneliness score was higher in 7-13 months of treated, the difference between the groups was statistically significant (KW: 10,326, p 0.01). As a result, patients with tuberculosis in a moderate to moderate depression, loneliness, and determined whether this is their only medical treatment but also a psychological evaluation of patients and health workers is important to take the necessary support
