Abstract :
Old age, in terms of indivial physical ve mental powers rather than the more lost you by surprise, productivity declined the role, social isolation and lived at a time when many health problems. For this reason, a quality of life elderly population is important to continue. There are many factors that affect quality of life of elderly. These are; the political, social and economic factors. İn addition, the elderly, where age-related health problems (i.e. hypertension, diabetes, vision and hearing loss, immobilization) affects the quality of life. In conclusion, it’s important to resolve issues that all people may develop into old age cannot be avoided. Fort this, with health-related knowledge and experience of the personnels of elderly (such as nurses) have a great need. Nurses with knowledge and experience related to the health of the elderly, and protecting the health of the elderly in developing the role and responsibilities to fulfill.
