Abstract
Although the number of women entrepreneurs is constantly increasing worldwide, women-led businesses in Morocco remain very weak. As a result, this study attempts to explore the factors that encourage or hinder the entrepreneurial activities of women in Morocco. To do this, a questionnaire was distributed to 92 women entrepreneurs. According to the results obtained, women entrepreneurs in Morocco seem to be more motivated by personal factors (personal development, autonomy and independence). On the other hand, it is clearly expressed that economic, regulatory and sociocultural factors have a weak influence on their entrepreneurial approach.
