Turkish and Uzbek Homonymic Word Comparison
Abstract :
Although it is generally easy to learn rela-tive languages sometimes it becomes difficult due to simple reasons. Knowing phonetic and morphologic changes contribute to ease learning while knowing lexic, semantics and syntax properties strengthens learning and eases talking. In the article prepared accor-ding to this understanding, the high quantity of homonymic words between Turkey Tur-kish (which is in southwest group among Turkic languages) and Uzbek (in southeast group) is emphasized and some of these are put to lexic comparison. These kind of words are examined under three groups: in very different meanings, only in public language and connotation in dictionaries.
