An Essay on Reflections to Minstrel Literature of XIX. Century Ottoman Socio-Economy

The origin of minstrel literature is based on an old tradition. Representatives in minstrel literature, began to be detected since XVI. century. To Turkish culture, minstrel literature is an important literary formation. The importance of minstrel literature with Turkish culture in the host and Turkish literature is an important branch, but is not limited. Problems reflected in the official history is an important part of this genre in the form of poetry has been to transfer to future generations. In this context, our research, the Ottoman XIX. century, tried to follow the sayings voiced minstrels living in the same century. However, the issue of socio-economic dimension has been limited, and moved some minstrels’ poetry. The aim of the study, the events of the period reflected the official history is to be derived from the works of minstrels.
